About Us

The Greater Baltimore Leadership Association (GBLA) was launched in February 2002 as the Young Professionals’ Auxiliary of the Greater Baltimore Urban League, under the tutelage of President/CEO J. Howard Henderson. The organization was created to support the objectives of the Greater Baltimore Urban League, as it endeavors to improve the quality of life for African-Americans and other minorities in Baltimore City and its surrounding counties. GBLA serves as a vehicle for young African-American and other minority leaders, aged 21 to 40 years old, who are committed to making a difference in the community.
Please come and join us for our monthly General Body meeting at the Greater Baltimore Urban League Headquarters at 512 Orchard Street. Baltimore MD 21201. Our meetings are usually on the Third Tuesday of every month with Meet and Greet from 6:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m.
